Wind Orchestra of the Town Leszno
The Wind Orchestra of the Town Leszno came into being at town authority suggestion in January 1994. It inaugurated its activity lending lustre to celebration of the 3rd of May Constitution anniversary. The conductor became a musician from the Poznań Philharmonic hall and the teacher of trumpet and trombone at the State School of Music in Leszno Zbigniew Śliwa. The orchestra acts in the Town Culture Centre in Leszno. Mr. Ryszard Jaśkowiak is the president of the board.
The Garrison's Orchestra in Szczecin became a constant point on the cultural map of West Pomarania. For over fifty-year period of its activity, it took part in all more important aspects of political, social or cultural life of the town and province. It is the inheritress of tradition the 12th Infantry Regiment’s Wind Orchestra which came into being due to the order of the High Command of Polish Army on March 15th,1945 in Poznań. In autumn 1945 the orchestra was carried over to Szczecin where it is stationed to the present day. The musicians in this orchestra are very good prepared instrumentalists.
Youth Wind Orchestra at the School of Music in Vimperk
The Youth Wind Orchestra at the School of Music in Vimperk/ Czech Republic was organized by Peter Stanek in 1991. In 1993 the orchestra began a cooperation with the successors of Masaryk School in Vimperk and with the composers Jiri Rada and Jaroslav Dufek. Three years later the orchestra achieved the first triumphs. In 1997 it won the first price in the Czech Competition of Youth Wind Orchestras “Cermakovo Vysoke Myto”, and this success was repeated four times.
Municipal Wind Orchestra at the School of Music in Vratimov
In April 2002 a school wind orchestra came into beeing, which later converted into musical band called Municipal Wind Orchestra at the School of Music in Vratimov in which 45 people are active. Majority of them are the students of the School of Music.You can meet the orchestra at each ceremony organized in town and beyond.
The Wind Orchestra of the Polish Post in Częstochowa started its activity in May 1994 on the base of the Wind Orchestra from Flax Trade Factory “Wigolen” in Gnaszyn. The orchestra is very active from the beginning in the life of Polish Post taking part in all postal feasts in the town and in the country.
The orchestra is also invited to lend lustre to bigger religious occasions on Jasna Góra and to all State celebrations organized by Town Hall in Częstochowa.
