Młodzieżowa Orkiestra Dęta w Drezdenku

MODThe orchestra came into being in 1997 on initiative of the Centrum Promocji Kultury Jana Maćkowskiego (Centre for Cultural Promotion “Jan Maćkowski”). The function of the band-master is held by Mieczysław Sorbal, a graduate of the Music School in the trumpet class. The orchestra’s members are pupils of high schools. Currently it’s about 45 persons. The orchestra contains of trumpets, clarinets, trombones, saxophones alto and tenor, cornets, flutes alto, tenor and baritone, tubes, drums, snare drums and cymbals.

Orkiestra Wojskowa w Toruniu

torunThe orchestra was founded in 1945. Currently it is a unit subordinated to the Chief of the Inspectorate of Armed Forces’ support in Bydgoszcz. Commander--band-master is at present cpt.Dominik Sierzputowski, assistant—drum-major, Warrant Officer Andrzej Bogusz. For several years the band takes part in the cultural life in Torun and its surroundings. Its most important tasks are the performances At military ceremonie. Numerous musicians are graduates of the Music Academies in Bydgoszcz, Poznań and Gdańsk.

Orkiestra Dęta KHW S.A. KWK „Mysłowice-Wesoła”

myslowice-wesolaIn 2009 a new orchestra was founded. It combines the orchestras of the two hard coal mines „Mysłowice” and „Wesoła”. Together they continue the Silesian tradition lived Since the 19th century: the joint playing along of the miners. In the history of these two bands we can find not only the taking part in the „Barbórka” (feast of the miners), but also during holidays of church and state, public events and parties as well as competitions of wind orchestras.

Orkiestra Dęta Świecie

detaswiecieThe orchestra has a 40-years jubilee and rich artistic possessions. Actively it takes part in the cultural life of the town and the region. It has become a beautiful music arrangement for all different kinds of church and state ceremonies. Furthermore it is a wonderful prominent symbol of Poland. The orchestra promotes the beauty of the Polish music abroad during its numerous concert. It has been already in all European countries – from Lithuania to Spain, from Finland to Sicily.

Orkiestra Zakładowa Huty Miedzi „Głogów”

Orkiestra_Dta_HM_Gogw_sIn September 1969 the management of the copper works „Głogów” donated the amount of 250 000 PLN to a group of music enthusiasts to buy necessary musical instruments. By this the orchestra of the copper works was founded. Since 1989 its conductor is Kazimierz Walendziak. Second conductor is Zbigniew Szabatowski.
