Results of the 8th International Wind Orchestras´ Meeting Alte Kameraden 2014

listened to 6 orchestras which applied for the title "laureate of the march competition" and the title "laureate of the competition for the concert program".

Jury based on the regulations decided as followed:

- the title "laureate of the march competition" goes to Musikverein Kurorchester Oberlaa (Austria)

- the title "laureate of the competition for the concert program" receives the Krakowskiej Orkiestrze Staromiejskiej

- the Grand Prix gets Dechový Orchestr Mladých Příbor (Czech Republic)

Furthermore the jury honoured some orchestras as followed:

Orkiestra Vivat for the impressive show of the dance group and the pageantry of the parade

Blasorchester Greifswald (Germany) for the national styl in the marching repertoire

Drum major of the Krakowska Orkiestra Staromiejska for the specific expressiveness in the handling of the mace and the orchestra for the great contact with the audience

Musikverein Kurorchester Oberlaa (Austria) for the ambitious and original concert´s repertoire

Orkiestra Dęta KWK „Halemba" for the precision and the interpretation of the march "Graf Zeppelin" written by Carl Teike
