The history of the  Orkiestra Dęta OSP Miedźno reaches to the year 1920. The ensemble is an important part of the community's cultural life. It plays on religious and patriotic festivities but also on other events. The ensemble is a recognizable brand in the region. Its repertoire contains religious  music pieces as well as popular music and regiment's calls of the troups of the cavalry's brigades, which on 1^st September 1939 took part in the battle of  Mokra Wołynska.

As an answere to the well recognized needs of the local community, whose important element (especially for the older generation) is the church, the orchestra's organizers initiated the custom of concerts in the local parish church. The band's most important achievements are the successes gained in the district's competitions for wind orchestras. Through systematic and hard work the Orkiestra Dęta OSP Miedźno was able to gain its position at district´s level, to get closer to the podium and at last to reach its highest rostrum in 2016 and again in 2017.
