Spielmannszug „Deutsche Eiche” Hirschfeld was founded in 1906 and therefore has a rich tradition. Currently there are 70 people playing in the band, as well as 30 people in the junior band. Every year in June the association of musicians organizes the International Festival of Federal State's Music which attracts always a big audience and is well known not only in the region, but also in other Federal States.

The Spielmannszug „Deutsche Eiche” Hirschfeld plays not only in its homeregion taking part in different kinds of celebrations and parades, but is also active abroad. It performed already in New York, Peking, Hamot, Lausanne and Tokio. It took part in events in Austria and Berlin. One concert's travel led the band to Hungary. Staff leader is Bianka Thieme.
