The orchestra works within the framework of the voluntary fire brigade. Since 1960 it adds splendor to state, local and church ceremonies. The orchestra is an active participant of the cultural life in its hometown Gorzów Wielkopolski.

It competes in annual festivities and wind orchestras’ festivals. Its repertoire contains marches, classical and sacral music as well as entertaining music.
