Without breath? - We just started
For the 4th International Wind Orchestras Meeting the following orchestras declared their participation. Rarity in the sphere of wind orchestras are women. We managed to acquire a whole female orchestra. Żeńska Orkiestra Dęta „Olimpia” charms the audience – and not only the male part of it.
Interesting looks like an orchestra with a long tradition. A performance of a miners' band is almost a necessarity within the scope of this event. Orkiestra Dęta KWK „Murcki-Staszic” Ruch „Boże Dary” will be here in Gorzów.
Opinion poll concerning the long weekend in May
We approach the inhabitants of Gorzów Wlkp. about the question which date is the best for the International Wind Orchestras' Meeting Alte Kameraden. We'd like to get to know your opinion about that. Each year, the festival takes place at the 1st and 2nd of May.
In May there will take place the 4th International Wind Orchestras' Meeting Alte Kameraden. Already right now we can happily announce that as well this year we can host some orchestras from abroad. It will come the Jugend-Musikkorps Rostock from Germany and the Austrian orchestra Musikkapelle Obermarkersdorf. Both bands have a long tradition in makeing music and present their repertoire in a way full of energy.
