The Wind Orchestra of Hradec Králové is nowadays probably the most significant wind orchestra in the region of Eastern Bohemia. The orchestra proudly represents the city of Hradec Králové, as well as the whole region during its concerts and festival appearences not only in the Czech republic, but also abroad.

The orchestra especially likes to play in Poland and for the Polish audience. The rich history of the orchestra began in 1921, when it was founded as the first civilian brass band in town.

Youth Wind Orchestra of Hajdúböszörmény (Hungary)

Młodzieżowa Orkiestra Dęta Miasta Hajdúböszörmény (Węgry)

The Youth Brass Band of Hajdúböszörmény was established in 1966 by students of the local music school. Since 1995 Zoltán Tanyi has been conducting and leading the orchestra. The members of the orchestra are 11-35 years old talented students from the Béla Bartók Music School of Hajdúböszörmény. About 40-50 performances are given each year. The orchestra has had the honour of playing in such countries as Germany, Italy, Montenegro, Poland, Romania and Serbia. The repertoire of the Youth Brass Band of Hajdúböszörmény is Hungarian and includes foreign composers songs which are classical wind music, modern adaptations as well as popular film soundtracks. The orchestra regurarly takes part in international competitons. The success of the orchestra has brought recognition and fame to Hajdúböszörmény.

The brass band Oderbrucher Blasmusik was founded in April 2002 on base of another wind orchestra which existed already since 1968. The band's name draws attention to its native country, which is placed in the Oder valley situated near the German-Polish border. The repertoire contains waltzes, polkas and marches of the traditional brass-band music from Germany and Bohemia, evergreens and modern pop songs. The Oderbrucher Blasmusik plays at village fetes and city festivals, at anniversaries and family parties. Furthermore the band took part in a filming of the local tv channel Berlin-Brandenburg as part of the documental series „Bauer sucht Kultur” (Farmer looks for culture).

The Wind Orchestra in Dzietrzkowice came into being at the end of the 1870. For a couple of years it was a parish orchestra. The band took part in state events, church and secular parties. During the Second World War the orchestra had to suspend its activities. After the War the band actively took part in the cultural life of Dzietrzkowice and its surroundings as well as in wind orchestras' festivals. In 2010 the orchestra's conductor Józef Rybski resigned from leading the band after 40 years of cooperation. Since December 2010 Damian Janas leads the orchestra. During the last seven years the orchestra rejuvenate. Since six years the band organizes few days' touristic music workshops.

Children's Wind Orchestra Zvenigorod „Funny Musicians” (Ukraine)

The Children's Wind Orchestra „Funny Musicians” was formed out of the youngest and oldest classes of the education complex Pikulovytskoho of the region Lviv. Not long time ago the orchestra started to cooperate with the dancing group „The Best”. By this the orchestra's offer was widened to choregrafical elements shown during the international festival of wind orchestras „Złoty Lew” (Golden Lion) in Lviv. Teacher and band leader is the teacher of the highest rank Bohdan Matsevko. Choreographer of the dancing group is Olena Sloboda. The Children's Wind Orchestra took part in different events organized in the towns of its district and region, as well as in competitions in several Ukrainian towns, for example Kiev, Ternopil and Lviv. The orchestra gained certificates of the district's and provincial departments of culture for its significant input in the development of the Ukrainian folklore and the amateur concert activity.

Wind Orchestra of the voluntary fire brigade Siedlice (Poland)

The Wind Orchestra of the voluntary fire brigade Siedlice was founded in 1960. It is an important element and representative of the part of town Siedlice as well as part of the cultural life in Gorzów Wlkp. The wind orchestra is an important player at cultural events, state celebrations and church festivals organized in Gorzów Wlkp. The band regularly takes part in the regional Festival of Wind Orchestras in Połczyn-Zdrój and in the festival „Brandenburger Spielleute - Musik open air” organized in Paaren near Potsdam by the Brandenburg government. In 2016 the orchestra was honoured by the minister of culture and national heritage. It received the badge for its „Services for the Polish culture“.

Representative Wind Orchestra of the Lithuanian Ministry of the Interior (Lithuania)

Reprezentacyjna Orkiestra Dęta Litewskiego Ministerstwa Spraw Wewnętrznych (Litwa)

The Representative Wind Orchestra of the Lithuanian Ministry of the Interior was established back in 1935. The orchestra takes part at the events organized by the Ministry and its regulatory bodies, plays at public concerts, performs concert projects as well as thematic programs with participation of solo vocalists and instrumentalists. In fact, although the orchestra is very popular in Lithuania, it never misses a chance to take part in international wind orchestra festivals. Quite a few times the orchestra has participated in competitions organized in Sweden, Poland, Latvia, Germany and Estonia. The orchestra has already recorded and issued eight audio cassettes, seven compact discs and several video cassettes. Egidijus Miknius is art director and conductor of the orchestra.

Wind Orchestra Gorzów (Poland)

Gorzowska Orkiestra Dęta (Polska)

The orchestra came into being in November 1958 on the initiative of the then management of the Chemical Company “Stilon”. Since 1992 the orchestra acts in the City Cultural Centre. During this time Bolesław Malicki conducted the band. Since 2016 Wind Orchestra Gorzów is lead by Anna Wiśniewska. The Town Hall in Gorzów Wlkp. patronizes the orchestra.

There are teachers, old boys and students from schools of music, and musicians of the former Garrison Orchestra, in the orchestra. The band gives concerts for the society of Gorzów within the region and abroad. It took part in festivals, tournaments of wind orchestras in Grodzisk Wielkopolski four times gaining the “Złoty Róg” („Golden Horn”).
