Some weeks after the festival, we begin to organize the next edition of the International Wind Orchestras' Meeting Alte Kameraden. Already we' ve got some enrolments of some orchestras from abroad. Besides we decided about the date. We will celebrate at the 7th and 8th of May in 2011. Hopefully the sun will shine so bridely like this year!

The 4th International Wind Orchetras' Meeting "Alte Kameraden 2010" is alreafy behind us. Let's take a deep breath and remind this event...

This year's edition was an extraordinary international one. The bands from Germany, Austria and Czech Republic made a good job. The audience had the possibility to realize several ways af makeing music in different regions of Europe, and to see how music can be used as a medium to communicate with people from another culture.

We'd like to present you the results of the 4th International Wind Orchestras' Meeting Alte Kameraden 2010.

The award in the march competition goes to Musikkapelle Obermarkersdorf (Austria)

The award in the concert competition goes to Amatérské sdružení hudebníků - dechový orchestr mladých Jistebník (Czech Republic) and Orkiestra Dęta Kopalni Węgla Kamiennego "Murcki-Staszic"Ruch "Boże Dary" from Katowic.

The Grand Prix gains Gorzowska Orkiestra Dęta.

Already tomorrow, at the first day of May, starts the IV International Wind Orchestras' Meeting „Alte Kameraden" 2010.

For two days we will have musicians from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and different regions of Poland as our guests. During the first Festival's day the inhabitants of Gorzów' s estates will have the possibility to take part in some concerts, which will be played right infront of their balconies. We'd like to invite you to our concerts in town - they will be played 1.30 p.m. - 2.30 p.m.

Represantatives of the local medias took part in the today's press conference which leads to the promotion campaign for the International Wind Orchestras' Meeting Aętych Alte Kameraden 2010. During the conference there were presented the orchestras from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Poland, which will take part in this 2-days-event.

At the 1st of May the wind orchestras will present the march competition, which will lead musicians and the audience throught the streets of our town nearby the Plac Grunwaldzki. At the stage situated at the riverside promenade will play our special guests from Italy and Denmark - Quintetto Rossini and the biggest international Jazz Big Band European Jazz Orchestra.

At the 2nd of May at the same stage we will be able to listen to seven orchestras which take part in the concert competition.
